Latino Theater and Art at Caritas Village


Caritas Village has closed out a summer of art, culture and performances from the Latino community hosted by Centro Cultural Latino de Memphis and Caritas Hope Gallery. Centro Cultural Latino de Memphis strives to meet the needs of our community by celebrating and promoting awareness of our cultural richness and diversity interpreted through the literary, performing, and visual arts. Our primary goal is to preserve our respective rich Latino cultural heritage and to stimulate intergenerational dialogues among the disciplines, languages, and traditional and contemporary expressions. They will host 10 weeks of events throughout the summer and fall.

  • 1. Drawing Classes & Choir Classes: Saturday, 2 – 3pm
    (Alternating Schedule)
  • 2. Dance Class: Saturday & Sunday,
    6 – 7pm (Practice 7-8)
  • 3. Poetry: 6 – 8pm
  • 4. Theater Rehearsal: Sunday 4 – 6pm
    & Tuesday 6 – 8pm

Button Show at Caritas





Caritas most recent art exhibition was more than just an art exhibit, it was an history lesson in design, composition and the possibilities of contemporary art.
