CNC Clinics At Caritas

For years now Caritas Village has been serving the community in any way possible. Every second, third, and fourth Tuesday of the month Caritas Village prepares to be packed with community members who need to be served medically.

This service is made possible through Compassion Neighborhood Clinic, Inc (CNC). Through the volunteered time of the CNC leaders Dr. John Lang and his wife, a registered nurse, Judy Lang, CaritasVillage café and community center is turned into a functional medical center. This is made possible by the numerous volunteer nurses, including students from Christian Brother's University RN to BSN Program.

On these select Tuesday nights from 6:00- 8:00 pm the doctors and nurses serve about 25 people who are without medical care. For those who struggle with English as their second language, there are usually two Spanish interpreters that are willing to help with clarification.

Even with all the action on the second, third, and fourth Tuesdays at Caritas Village, the kitchen is still open for business; that way those who have to bring their families will not have to put dinner on hold while they wait!

Keep in mind,  that Caritas Village runs primarily on the help of volunteers! We would love to have you here helping in anyway possible. It was said best that "the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others" (Ghandi) and Caritas Village is a great community to get lost in.
